    • Mario Almonte  
      General Manager

      Mario brings Belmont over 14 years of experience in Sales and Marketing for the golf industry. Prior to joining Belmont, Mario was the Regional Sales & Marketing Director for Wingfield Golf Properties, a position which he held for over five years. Mario came to Belmont as Membership Director and moved his way up to Assistant General Manager. He has his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland as well as his Masters of Business of Administration from American University.

      Scott Beerbower  
      Membership Director


      Scott is a native to the northen Virgina area growing up in Falls Church. He stayed close by during his college years,graduating from Virginia Tech University with a degree in Political Science. Prior to joining the Belmont team as our Membership Director, Scott worked for the US Chamber of Commerce where he was the Director for the Corporate Relations department.

      Originally from East Tennessee, Amanda moved to Northern Virginia after graduating from Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.  Amanda came to Belmont as the Club Secretary and quickly moved her way  up to become the Member Relations Director. Now, as the Marketing & Communications Director for Toll Golf's Virginia Clubs - Belmont and Dominion Valley Country Club, she manages all aspects of marketing and communications as well as web site and social media presence.

      Erika Gebel 
      Club Receptionist

      Before moving to Ashburn in 2011, Erika lived in 5 other states with the most recent being Columbia, South Carolina.  Erika comes to us with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies: Corporate Communications  and a minor in Music from Bryan College in Dayton, TN. In college, she was active in Student Government Association, serving as the Administrative Assistant, Class Senator and helped plan the student events.  Her initial job upon moving to the Ashburn area was a Marketing Intern for a non-profit in Lansdowne before eventually becoming a part of the Belmont team in March 2014.

    • Bob Pfeffer  
      Head Golf Professional

      Bob began his career in the golf business over 27 years ago in Michigan and has enjoyed the opportunities that the great game has afforded him.  His golf experience includes stints at Walt Disney World in Orlando, The Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale and prior to joining the professional staff at Belmont, Director of Golf at Sun City Hilton Head. Bob graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI and has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America for 20 years.


      Adam Hibbs
      1st Assistant Professional

       Adam comes to us most recently from The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Asheville, NC. Prior to being there, his golf experience includes internships at Rose Hill Golf Club in Hilton Head, SC as well as Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. Adam graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Golf Management and has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America for 5 years.

      Gary Muller
      Assistant Golf Professional

      Gary grew up in a small town in NY and graduated Sullivan County Community College with his Associates degree in Golf Course Management. He moved to VA in 2006 and worked in the Northern Virginia  area. Prior to joining us at Belmont, he was with Piedmont Golf Club in Haymarket, VA. He is currently in Level 1 of the PGA program working towards becoming a Class A Member.


      Tom Willett
      Assistant Professional

       Tom grew up in Massachusetts before moving to Chandler, Arizona to obtain his Associates degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management at the Golf Academy of America.  After obtaining his degree in 2004, Tom found his way to the Lansdowne Resort as an Assistant Golf Professional before joining the Belmont team in 2009.  Tom is currently Level 2 in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program and working his way toward becoming a full PGA Member.

      Aaron Wells  
      Golf Course Superintendent

      Originally from the Akron-Youngstown area of Ohio, Aaron discovered his passion for the game of golf while working on courses through out the summers while he was in high school. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Turf Management from Eastern Kentucky University in 1998 and in 2002, joined our team at Belmont Country Club. He is also a 15-year member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

  • Racquet, Swim & Fitness Center

      Paul Wantuck
      Fitness Director

      Paul brings with him over a decade of fitness industry experience, ranging from Division 1 Collegiate Strength and Conditioning to Private Training for a major health club as a master level trainer, as well as in-home training.  He is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has background in Corrective Exercise for injury prevention/rehab.  He also holds two degrees from James Madison University, one in Business Marketing and one in Exercise Science. 

      Jorge Cordova
      Tennis Professional

      Jorge came to Belmont bringing with him over 33 years experience in the Tennis Industry. Most of those years have been in the Washington D.C area. Prior to Belmont Jorge was the Tennis Director at Hidden Creek Country Club and the Manager of the Bready Park Indoor Facility for the Town of Herndon.

    • Joseph DiGello

      Joe is a 2005 graduate of Mercyhurst University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. During his time in college, he was a key member of the men’s golf team for all four years. Upon graduation in May 2008,  Joe relocated to Northern Virginia and began working at Belmont Country Club as an Accounting Assistant.  In 2011, Joe was promoted to his current role as Accountant.  He resides in Leesburg with his wife, young son and daughter.

      Kirsten Hall

      Originally from the Northern Virginia area, Kirsten lived in Ashburn prior to going to college at James Madison University. In May 2014, she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. Upon graduation, Kirsten knew she wanted to move back to the Ashburn area and began looking for a job in her field.  She was a perfect fit here at Belmont as  our Accounting Assistant.



      Jacqueline Daum
      Accounting Assistant

      Jackie is a graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  She has several years’ experience working in public accounting for a CPA firm in Great Falls, VA; and has also held positions with Loudoun County Public Schools as well as The American College of Radiology in Reston, VA.  Jackie has resided in Loudoun County for over twenty years, and enjoys living in her Ashburn community with her husband and children.

      Beginning her career at the University Club and Cardinal Club in Raleigh -Durham, North Carolina, Rhonda relocated to Virginia in 1993.   Before joining Belmont Country Club, Rhonda served as the Catering Sales Director at Hidden Creek Country Club and River Creek Club. Rhonda’s ability to anticipate Member and guest expectations is unsurpassed. In addition to the hundreds of weddings Rhonda has coordinated, she has also planned events such as the North Carolina Gubernatorial Inaugural Ball, Duke University’s FUQUA School of Business, North Carolina Debutante Ball and many high profile sports figures and events which include the Jimmy V Foundation and the Washington Redskins. She has also hosted George H. Bush and William Clinton at various locations in addition to many other prominent politicians. 

      Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her beautiful grandchildren.

      Bryan Strevig

      Please help us in congratulating Bryan Strevig on his new promotion as our official Executive Chef! Before arriving at Belmont, Bryan spent 6 years at Lansdowne Resort holding various positions in their kitchen which included Executive Sous Chef. Bryan brings with him over 10 years of culinary experience and specializes in regional cuisine. Bryan graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelor's in Food Service Management and an Associates' Degree in Culinary Arts.

       A Chicago, IL native Blair moved to Northern Virginia in 2007 to attend George Mason University. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Events Management and Spanish minor in 2011. Before coming to Belmont the same year, she held various positions at The Country Club of Fairfax, including their first ever Clubhouse Intern. Blair quickly grew her way from Banquet Manager into the Assistant Food & Beverage Position before accepting her most recent promotion to Food & Beverage Director.

      La'Trell began working at the club part-time during her Junior and Senior years of high school as a beverage cart girl and server.  Upon graduation La'Trell attended the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute when she graduated with her associated degree in Restaurant Management. 

      In her spare time, La'Trell enjoys spending time with her daughter and family.
